ATTENTION: WHEN PLACING A FERTILE EGG ORDER, KEEP IN MIND WE CANNOT CONTROL THE SHIPPING AND HANDELING OF THE POSTAL SERVICE. IF YOUR EGGS ARE BROKEN UPON ARRIVAL, YOU MUST SEND PHOTOS THAT DAY AND WE CAN REFUND FOR BROKEN EGGS. WE ALSO CANNOT CONTROL THE CONDITIONS OF A CUSTOMER’S INCUBATOR AND WE WILL NOT BE RESPOSIBLE FOR POOR HATCH RATES AND WE WILL NOT REFUND ON EGGS THAT DID NOT DEVELOPE OR EGGS THAT DON’T HATCH. WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER, YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR CONDITIONS.
When you place a hatching egg order, we will contact you through email and set up a shipping date with you. We ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We can safely fit 14 eggs per box.  We require a minimum of 6 eggs.  Mix any breeds we have have available.
The Light Sussex is a large heavy breed and layer of a pinkish colored egg. The Light Sussex is a dual-purpose bird and good egg producer. They are a very curious and friendly and will make great addition to your backyard flock. The Light Sussex is a striking bird with its black mane and tail and pearl white bodies. Great with kids! We obtained our Light Sussex back around 2008 when they we’re first imported into the US. We’ve kept the line pure, and they continue to be a farm favorite. The Light Sussex is an old Heritage breed, the hens still have their mothering instincts and they’re happy to hatch and raise chicks.
